Tell A Tale

This category invites duet performers to narrate powerful stories through the medium of dance. Drawing inspiration from well-known tiny tales, short stories, or original plots, participants will weave narratives using movement and expression. The focus is on compact, creative storytelling within a 3-minute time frame, aligning with this year’s CAS statement. Performances may span across or blend dance genres, offering space for innovation, emotion, and visual impact.


Venue: Auditorium

Maximum schools: 15

(first come first serve)

Rules & Regulations:-

  • Each entry must have only 2 participants.

  • The dance can include a single dance genre or a fusion of dance genres.

  • Participants are required to pick up famous tiny tales/short stories or self devised plots and present the same through dance.

  • The performance should not exceed 3 minutes.

  • The performance can use pre-recorded tracks or compiled tracks

  • The performance should be addressing the CAS statement of the year.

  • Participants are allowed to use small props that will not cause damage to the stage.

  • Use of water, sand, fire etc are strictly prohibited

  • Music and costumes used should be school appropriate

  • The judges’ decision is final and binding

The criteria for judgment is:-

  • Creativity & Originality

  • Presentation

  • Movement clarity and technique

  • Relevance to theme

Entries that cross the time limit will be penalized.
